Welcome to Cedar Centre

A centre for education and meaningful community interaction.

Lifelong Learning or Lifewide Learning?
We learn and develop through all the experiences in our lives - the good and the bad.

Lifelong learning is developed through the continuous journey we all make throughout our whole lives in both formal and informal environments.

But learning is not a single linear journey. At any point in our lives we are involved in many experiences simultaneously and all of them help us learn and develop. We learn through experiences, people and reflection...at any age.

Lifewide learning helps us appreciate the richness of our lives and become the people we want to be.

The Hub, is a place where participants and the community are able to interact in a productive and meaningful way.

Participants in the Hub interact with a range of community organisations through volunteering and engagement activities.
The Hub provides social engagement and networking opportunities for participants. It also provides assistance to organisations who struggled with events, support and capacity.
The hub is based on a lifewide learning philosophy in which we learn from others all throughout our lives
